2. Profit Centre Analysis. After collecting the initial information, we can then prepare the profit centre analysis. This is an assessment of the income generating parts of the business, allocating the direct costs associated and then the indirect costs based on a methodology called ABC or Activity Based Cost analysis. The objective of this assessment is to ensure that the highest profit generating areas of the business have the right amount of space allocated to maximise overall profit for the business.
3. How Much Space Do You Need and How To Use It. This analysis provides a very good overview of how much space a business needs and how to allocate floorspace to various income generating and administrative areas of the business. This approach also accommodates growing organisations, as the forecasted growth requirements can be incorporated into the model and the analysis.
